It’s the countdown to Christmas and for many of us, this means rushing for last minute presents, planning Christmas dinner and eagerly awaiting those much needed days off work to spend with family and friends.
If like us you need a refreshing break from this season’s mayhem join us for a bite to eat at a cosy bistro on Hannover Street followed by a stroll through the lovely German markets.
We'll have an area reserved for us at Henderson's, where a host will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and settle you in to the Social. (Make sure you check here before the Social to see who is hosting)
Keep your eyes peeled for a CitySocialising logo on the table or ask the venue staff for the table reserved under the name CitySocialising.

Please accept our apologies however due to lack of numbers this Social will no longer be going ahead. Our policy to ensure you get to meet a good mix of people through CitySocialising is that if less than six members are available to attend the Social is cancelled and a full refund or transfer provided to those regular members that have paid a fee to attend the Social.
Please do feel free to use the Socials message board, or our private messaging system however, to get in touch with the others that were due to attend and arrange to meet up anyway of course!
If you have paid a fee to attend this Social, please email refund@citysocialising.com with your full name and the name of this Social stating whether you would like a refund or if you would prefer to transfer to another Social and it will be arranged for you.
Apologies again but we look forward to welcoming you to another Social soon.
Kind regards,
The CitySocialising Team

Located in East Princes Street the German markets are snugly located in the heart of the city. Close by are the Ferris Wheel and Winter Wonderland, which along with the twinkly Christmas lights make the market a magical sight to behold at this time of year.
The German Christmas market itself consists of 25 little wooden cabins, like smurfs homes, each brightly lit with all of the usual seasonal trimmings. Visiting the market gives you a real flavour of Christmas with delightful wooden toys and crafts and all manner of German treats, both for consuming out there on a cold December day, or for presenting as a gift to a loved one on Christmas day. We would also visit the Highland Village Christmas markets, popular for its top of the range food, drink, clothing and jewellery from all over Scotland.
We’ll be meeting first at Henderson’s, for some cheap and delicious grub, before heading out to the Germans markets at 7.15pm
Dress code: Please remember to dress warm and grab an umbrella just in case
